Dottid, a Dallas-based commercial real estate software-as-a-service technology platform, announced it has raised $3.85 million in seed funding. The proptech startup says it’s the first-of-its-kind to provide a singular location for owners, brokers, and tenants to seamlessly transact throughout the leasing process. Dottid said the funding will be used for product development and expansion, with a focus on gathering as much feedback as possible to further improve its platform. Dottid’s investors include David Ridley, the founder and former CEO of Invesco Real Estate; Laurie Dotter, a current investment board member for two public Texas pension funds; and David Farmer, a former COO of Invesco Real Estate.
