New York, NY — March 27, 2026 — NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and CREtech, the leading global platform for commercial real estate technology, today announced an expanded strategic partnership designed to accelerate technology awareness, education, and adoption across the commercial real estate industry.
Building on the success of the 2025 collaboration, the 2026 partnership will connect NAIOP’s network of developers, owners, and investors with the technology companies, ideas, and practical applications reshaping the built environment. Together, NAIOP and CREtech will create new opportunities for the industry to explore how technology and AI can drive greater efficiency, stronger decision-making, and long-term value creation across commercial real estate. The partnership is centered on CREtech New York 2026 and CRE.Converge 2026, with a shared goal of increasing visibility, fostering high-value connections, and driving participation from qualified real estate decision-makers.
CREtech New York 2026, taking place October 20–21 in New York City, will bring together real estate leaders and technology innovators for two days of meetings, insights, and industry connection. The partnership will also extend to CRE.Converge 2026, where CREtech and NAIOP will collaborate on technology-focused programming designed to move beyond theory and highlight how innovation is being implemented today across the industry. Proposed themes include AI in site selection, underwriting and design; PropTech applications in development and asset management; data centers and digital infrastructure; smart buildings and IoT; construction tech; energy systems; climate resilience technologies; and the intersection of technology and capital.
