Several former Ten-X executives have banded together to launch a competing online marketplace for small-to-midsize deals.

The real estate tech company — Biproxi, launched this week by the founding quartet of CEO Gordon Smith, Chief Operating Officer Carrington Guy, Chief Commercial Officer Yan Khamish and Managing Director Thatcher Milholland — is a subscription-free listing, discovery and transaction platform that uses proprietary tech to verify listings, buyers, sellers and tenants.
