When Zach Aarons and two colleagues launched the real estate tech accelerator Metaprop in 2015, few major landlords were thinking seriously about disruption in their industry, let alone investing money in exploring the possibilities. Three years later the city's proptech sector has exploded, attracting billions of dollars in funding in 2017 alone.
