Laws capping building emissions could be gold for proptech

Brooklyn-based 475 High Performance Building Supply has had some successes since its 2012 founding, most notably its role in helping build North America's first high-rise "passive house." The company supplied the gaskets, membranes and seals—and expertise in their application—that made Cornell Tech's 26-story residential tower on Roosevelt Island virtually airtight and a model of sustainable construction.
