THE SCOOP

Got a great tour of the Google Campus in Mountain View, CA from Crystal and Inge. Felt like a typical tourist (in a good way) as we visited the famous campus. We saw multi-colored bicycles that Googlers use to get between campus buildings, amazing outdoor recreation, the bowling alley, rock walls, organic gardens and quirky candy statues.

When we sat down to chat I got a good overview of the Google Indoor Mapping project which provides mobile indoor maps of shopping malls, airports, stadiums and mass transit. I must admit I had no idea Google had mapped like half of the malls in America! Pretty cool stuff.
