Laura comes to Genea from Xceligent, where she was one of the top salespeople, helping companies in the commercial real estate industry use data to drive results. She also spent 18 years in commercial real estate, as a property manager and regional portfolio manager with Deutsche Bank and Gaedeke Group.  “Since Laura was a property manager herself, she understands the demands our customers are under on a daily basis,” said Genea CEO, Michael Wong. “Her years of experience in property management and CRE tech make her an exciting new addition to our team. We’re thrilled to be working with her as we expand in Atlanta and beyond.”   Laura’s passion for the impact technology can have makes her a perfect fit with the Genea team. She's been an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, where she developed and moderated a recent panel on real estate technology.   “I know the challenges property managers face on a day-to-day basis, and how using the right technology can alleviate a lot of the frustration of manual processes, freeing up more time to focus on what matters most: their relationships with their tenants,” said Laura Prewett. “Joining the Genea team gives me the chance to help CRE teams in Atlanta reap the benefits of partnering with an established technology partner to automate their after hours HVAC requests, submeter reading, and tenant billing processes.”  “I’m excited for the opportunity to get back to my roots and reconnect with the property management teams I worked alongside for so long,” said Prewett. “This transition to Genea has been a wonderful experience. So many people in the industry have reached out to me to show their support. I’m truly proud to be part of such a great community.”   Genea is already working with companies such as John Hancock Real Estate, Hines, JLL, and others in Atlanta and is looking forward to bringing more companies into the family.  If you’re in the Atlanta market and interested in discussing how Genea’s software could help your building, please connect with Laura, or email sales@getgenea.com.    Genea is a technology firm that provides cloud-based software and services for the commercial real estate industry.
