Launched in 2016 with a 25,000 s/f space on the eighth floor of that same building, Primary adds an athletic twist to the share office concept pioneered by WeWork, offering an exercise studio with yoga and meditation classes, full locker rooms and a cafe that serves fresh juice and healthy snacks. The company has added an additional 48,873 s/f to its lease, occupying the entire third floor in the 32-story building. It plans to build 130 shared office suites in its new space. With the addition, Primary’s total holdings come to 73,873 s/f. Jordan Metzger, Matthew Schneid and Elizabeth Navatto of the law firm Cole Schotz P.C. represented Primary during the negotiations of the lease expansion.
