The DNA of #CRE 2017.

The DNA of #CRE survey was founded in 2015 by Buildout and theBrokerList to get a deeper understanding of some of the habits of commercial real estate brokers and how those habits may change over time. Each year the DNA of #CRE takes the snapshot and shares it with the industry, including comprehensive reports and much analysis using engaging infographics. In 2017 the DNA of #CRE won a REMA for best graphics as well. As Buildout.com further explains: For the third year in a row, we’ve partnered with theBrokerList for the DNA of #CRE Survey, and the 2017 edition is now open! We need your insight to uncover what brokers and marketers around the country really care about. Which property type was sold or leased the most in 2017? Which social media platforms are most valuable? Which new technology has the potential to affect your business the most? We need your help to find out. What info does the survey collect? This year, we’re conducting one survey for brokers and one survey for marketers. For brokers, we dive into the demographics and focus of your work, where you’ve done the most business this year, what your gross commission income was and more. For marketers, we ask questions like what kinds of advertising you run, whether or not your firm has a blog and what email marketing platform you use. We’ve also expanded the survey to ask you what you think the future holds for commercial real estate. We want to know more about your strategic plans for 2018, how you envision the future of CRE tech and how you think technology like AI, VR, and driverless cars will affect your job as a CRE professional. And of course, we value your privacy and will never release any of your answers. Why should you take the survey? We conduct our annual DNA of #CRE survey to provide a useful tool for CRE professionals like you to benchmark against competitors and get a clear reading on where the CRE industry is and where it’s going. When we release our survey report and analysis, you’ll have a clear picture of how the CRE industry has changed over the last few years, and how brokers and marketers alike think it will change in 2018. For example, last year we discovered that while maximizing exposure is the top challenge for small and medium firms, accurate property data and research is the top challenge for large firms. The survey only takes a few minutes, and if you’re one of the first 300 people to complete every question, you will be entered to win a VR headset. This is our way of saying thank you for participating in the most comprehensive collection of data in the industry. Take the survey now and sign up for our email updates to be the first to know when the complete data is released.
