Real estate tech firm expects to double new Nashville office in next year

A San Francisco-based tech startup that opened a Nashville office in May is expecting to double its local workforce within the next year.

Opendoor, which allows owners to quickly sell their home online for a fee, has been in Music City for about three months, employing 15 people at WeWork on Woodland Street, Nashville General Manager Jay Cherry said. The office is currently hiring for seven open positions and plans to grow to 30 workers in the next year.
