A Manhattan tech firm plans to spend $10 million over the next year buying out the leases on vacant apartments and then renting the units out itself. Rezi emerged from Silicon Valley's Y Combinator accelerator program last year before raising $30 million on the idea that it can use machine learning and tech to make apartment leasing more efficient.
