WeWork takes two floors of NoMad building

Co-working firm inks lease for 12,000 square feet.

WeWork has signed a 10-year lease for two floors of a NoMad office building at 15 W. 27th St.

The co-working firm will take the entire ninth and 10th floors, which total 11,818 square feet. It plans to move in this fall.

Asking rents for the space were in the high $60s per square foot, according to the landlord, the Kaufman Organization. WeWork, however, was given a tenant allowance, which is essentially a break on rent for a specified time, helping to offset the company's cost of building out the space.
