Attendee Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to clients of CREtech (the “Producer”), hereafter referred to as “Attendee” or “Delegate,” attending events produced and presented by CREtech.

Payments

  • If payment is required, all bookings made prior to the event must be paid in full to guarantee registration.

  • Upon receiving payment, an email confirmation and receipt will be sent.

  • A downloadable invoice will be available through the registration confirmation email.

  • Registrations without immediate payment will remain provisional.

  • Payment must be processed at least seven (7) days prior to the event date or the registration will be canceled.

Early Bird Rates

  • To qualify for Early Bird rates or discounts, both booking and payment must be completed before the deadline specified in conference marketing materials.

  • Discounts will not apply retroactively or to registrations made after the deadline.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations received in writing at least six (6) weeks prior to the event start date are eligible for a refund, less a 20% administrative fee.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this date.

  • Substitutions are permitted up to one (1) week before the event date.

  • If an attendee fails to cancel and does not attend, no refund or credit will be issued.

  • In the event of postponement or a format change, including from in-person to virtual, registrations will automatically transfer to the new date or format.

  • If an event is canceled, a credit valid for up to 12 months will be issued and may be redeemed for another CREtech program.

Adjustment of Registration Fees

  • CREtech reserves the right to review and adjust registration ticket types and fees if the information provided by the attendee is misrepresented, false, or incorrect.

  • Any required fee adjustments must be paid prior to event access being granted.

Ticket Inclusions

  • Ticket inclusions, including but not limited to food and beverage, meetings access, networking features, and on-site experiences, vary by ticket type.

  • All inclusions will be clearly outlined at the time of registration.

  • CREtech reserves the right to modify inclusions at its discretion.

Complimentary, Student, and Special Access Passes

  • Complimentary passes, including student passes and other no-cost or discounted registrations, do not include complimentary lunch unless explicitly stated at the time of registration.

  • CREtech reserves the right to define inclusions by ticket type.

Copyright and Distribution Rights

  • All event-related materials, including interviews, surveys, presentations, recordings, photography, and promotional content, are the sole property of CREtech.

  • CREtech retains full editorial control over all event content and deliverables.

  • Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or sell event content without prior written consent from CREtech.

Event Technology, Internet Access, and WiFi

  • Complimentary basic WiFi may be provided throughout the venue.

  • CREtech does not guarantee internet speed, uptime, or performance.

  • Attendees requiring enhanced connectivity are responsible for securing upgraded service where available.

  • CREtech is not responsible for business disruption resulting from internet or technology limitations.

Use of Attendee Information

  • By registering, attendees consent to their name, title, and company being displayed in the official event app and attendee directory.

  • Attendee title and company name may also be used in promotional materials, including email, social media, and the event website.

Speakers and Content

  • Views expressed by speakers are their own.

  • CREtech is not liable for advice or opinions given during the conference or in associated materials.

  • CREtech may use speaker names, session titles, and presentation materials for event promotion.

  • Sessions may be audio and or video recorded and distributed or sold as part of conference materials.

  • By attending, speakers and attendees consent to the use of their names, likenesses, and voices for promotional purposes unless notified in writing prior to the event.

  • Sessions may include discussion or demonstrations of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.

  • CREtech does not guarantee the accuracy, performance, or future availability of any technology referenced.

Consent to Contact

  • By submitting registration details, attendees agree to allow CREtech and its associated companies to contact them regarding services and opportunities.

  • Attendees may opt out of communications by emailing events@cretech.com.

  • CREtech does not share attendee email addresses in bulk with sponsors, speakers, or other attendees unless explicitly stated.

  • Non-identifying attendee information may be shared for networking purposes in accordance with CREtech’s Privacy Policy.

Delegate Directory and Badge Scanning

  • Registered attendees may be included in the Delegate Directory for networking purposes.

  • Attendees may opt out during registration or by contacting events@cretech.com.

  • Exhibitors and sponsors may request to scan attendee badges.

  • By consenting, exhibitors receive name, job title, company, and email address.

  • Consent for badge scanning is optional and may be withdrawn at any time.

  • Badge scanning, meeting requests, and in-app messaging must be used for legitimate business networking purposes only.

  • CREtech reserves the right to restrict access in cases of misuse or spam behavior.

GDPR Compliance and Data Protection

  • CREtech processes attendee data in compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.

  • Data is used for event management, networking, and marketing purposes as outlined in CREtech’s Privacy Policy.

  • Attendees have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request deletion of their personal data where applicable.

  • Attendee data will be retained for up to 12 months following the event unless deletion is requested sooner.

  • Privacy inquiries may be directed to events@cretech.com.

Websites and External Links

  • CREtech websites and networking tools may link to third-party websites.

  • CREtech is not responsible for third-party content or data practices.

Insurance

  • Attendees are responsible for arranging their own insurance.

  • CREtech is not liable for personal property loss, damage, or liability incurred during the event.

Photographs and Media Usage

  • CREtech may use photographs and video recordings captured during the event for promotional purposes.

  • By attending, you grant CREtech the right to use your likeness without compensation or prior approval.

Hotel, Meetings, and Hospitality Functions

  • Attendees may not host CREtech-branded functions or meetings within the venue or participating hotels without prior written authorization.

Conference Anti-Harassment Policy

CREtech is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for all participants.

Harassment includes:

  • Verbal comments targeting protected classes

  • Sexual images or inappropriate content

  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following

  • Harassing photography or recording

  • Sustained disruption of sessions

  • Inappropriate physical contact

  • Unwelcome sexual attention

  • Advocacy of or encouragement of any of the above behaviors

  • Anyone asked to stop harassing behavior must comply immediately.

  • CREtech may issue warnings or remove offenders from the event without refund.

  • Incidents should be reported to CREtech staff or emailed to events@cretech.com.

If you feel unsafe or experience harassment, report it immediately to CREtech staff or email events@cretech.com.
